Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Potterville School Libraries is to provide access and instruction which will enable all stakeholders to achieve skills and use information in a way that will fulfill our goal of learning for a lifetime.

Book Lists

  • Caldecott Medal Winners: This annual award is given to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.
  • Geisel Award Winners: This annual award, named for Dr. Seuss, is given to the author and illustrator of the most distinguished American book for beginning readers.
  • Newberry Medal and Honor Books: This annual award is given to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.

  • Britannica Fundamentals: An online encyclopedia designed for Pre K-2nd grade students.
  • Britannica School Elementary: An online encyclopedia designed for students in grades 3-4.
  • Explora for Elementary Schools: Magazines and reference books on a variety of subjects for elementary students.
  • PebbleGo: Visual learning for students grades Pre K-3. Subjects included are animals and social studies.
  • eBook K-8 Collection: Access to over 12,450 titles to download or read online.
  • NoveList K-8 Plus: Create reading lists, find just right books, read reviews, and learn about authors.
  • World Book Early Learning: Students in grades Pre K-3 can learn about the world through videos, games, activities, and stories
  • World Book Kids: Students in grades Pre K-5 can learn about people, places, and things in our world through games, videos, pictures, maps, and more.
