Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Potterville School Libraries is to provide access and instruction which will enable all stakeholders to achieve skills and use information in a way that will fulfill our goal of learning for a lifetime.

Caldecott Medal Winners : This annual award is given to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

Geisel Award Winners : This annual award, named for Dr. Seuss, is given to the author and illustrator of the most distinguished American book for beginning readers.

Newberry Medal and Honor Books: This annual award is given to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
