Officer Johnny Lopez was born in San Antonio, Texas, but was raised most of his life around Traverse City, Michigan. He moved to the Lansing area later on and attended LCC and subsequently KCC in Battle Creek where he obtained his degree in Criminal Justice and Social Science.
His prior work experience includes: 911 Operator, Corrections Deputy, School Resource Officer, Community Service Officer, Police Chief, Road Patrol Deputy and he is currently a Police Officer and School Resource Officer for Potterville Public Schools. He retired from the Eaton County Sheriff's Office earlier this year.
He loves to go fishing, camping, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, spending time at the beach and traveling. His passions include playing piano, writing songs and performing concerts. He loves good pizza and Texas Roadhouse. He enjoys the company of others and talking with people. He believes that communication, compassion and understanding are key to success.
